Its That Time Again!
Hard to believe that 33 years ago in 1978 I went to Disney World for the first time, and by myself too. What a mistake. Not Disney World, but going alone. That solo trip though planted the seed that would become an addiction for some including myself. Nine years later I would return again and pass the addiction that is Disney on to Shelly. After one year off in 1988 it has been a annual rite of passage to experience Disney. Some years have been harder than others with new babies, aging family members, financial concerns, etc., but all in all always worth the effort.
The trip would have more cast members join the group starting in 1999 and continuing in the years 2000, 2001, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. March 2009 was probably the most exciting year for me because of Kirstie becoming a real Disney Cast Member for seven months. To see her working in the place that has been such a big part of her life and ours for all these years was really special. An extra bonus trip in June 2009 for Shelly with Michelle, Jenny, Katie, Chelsea, & Hailey
to celebrate Kirstie’s birthday while she was still working at Disney was added fun too .

The 25th Year Of Disney Is Coming, I Can’t Wait, ... Again.
We would learn down the road though that pretty surroundings at a hotel and amenities we hardly took advantage of were not a very smart investment. So, we have been moving around the All Star Resorts of Disney, except on years that required Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside, when other guests were along that required a room that would sleep 5. If that were the case in 2011 we would be entertaining that idea again. As far as we know in 2011 it will be an All Star Resorts year. One thing different though is we will be at All Star Movies Resort. We took a bus there from Disney Studios in 2009 because the line to All Star Music was very long. Upon arrival at Movies we walked through that property to get to Music. We were pleasantly surprised at the small size and coziness of Movies. So its on to Disney’s All Star Movies for
