2012.... The Beginning Of The Next Twenty Five
We’ve been to Disney World 25 years. And the question that confronts us now is, what next? Of course the answer is another 25 years beginning in 2012. Another 25 might be hoping for a lot, but if you can dream there is always a chance. The thought of replaying some of the magic of the past through some new grandchildren’s eyes is a very exiting dream. Assuming of coarse there are any grand children. So, if you are hoping for grand children why not bring the two ingredients for grand children along on year one of The Next Twenty Five. After 12 months of planning since last Christmas the trap is ready to be sprung. So this evening all the diversions were cast aside and the truth can now be told. Kirstie is going back to Disney World. As if that’s not enough, how about who’s taking her. Steve will be making his first trip of hopefully many more to The Magic KIngdom. Still not enough? How about Holly Cunningham showing up to relive the cast member magic she and Kirstie shared in 2009 at The Boneyard and Finding Nemo The Musical. Original Disney Dozen cast members Dave and Brenda Glowacki will also be making the trip this year to round out the group to seven. The trip almost got busted when KIrstie the detective saw something she wasn’t supposed to see on Steves phone. We have covered our tracks as well as possible and hope it still was a surprise. Even if it wasn’t, it will still be a fantastic trip for this coming year.
2012 will be an Annual Pass buy year so there will be a minimum of extra add on activities for this trip. There will be lots to look forward to in the coming three years with the The New Fantasyland, Star Tours 2, the return of Spectromagic, and in 2013 the opening of Disney’s Art Of Animation Resort. The artist conception drawings of this hotel below look like it will be a fabulous addition to the Disney Value Resorts. I’m sure the lagoon will be transformed into a beautiful water area similar to The Caribbean Beach Resort with it’s white sandy beaches and boat rentals. The lagoon has been sitting empty behind Pop Century for a long time and now this new development will probably spur Disney to make the finishing touches on this expansive area. So we hope for good health and smooth sailing for all of us and all of you so there truly will be a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow and a Next Twenty Five.
